STGA's Tumbling Tykes
Preschool
Mission Statement
Our
primary objective is to help each child reach his or her full
potential in these critical areas of development: cognitive,
physical, emotional and social. Daily activities are created
by a professional, caring staff. To promote the development of
large motor skills, all children receive forty-five minutes of
gymnastics each week with one of STGA's gymnastics coaches.
Our program builds a strong foundation for later academic
education by encouraging self-motivated
learning.
Our Program
We have a combined class
of three and four year olds. The four year olds come
Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 9:15-11:45 AM. The three year
olds come on Monday and Wednesday from 9:15-11:45 AM All
students must be three of four years old by December 1st and
must be toilet trained.
Our class is a semi-structured
play-oriented class. Activities are centered around
pre-writing and pre-math skills, colors, shapes and
socialization. The ratio of students to staff is 7 to
1.
We are the only area preschool with gymnastics
included in the program.
Tuition Fees
$65.00/month
for 3 year olds (M & W)
$75.00/month for 4 year
olds (M, W, F)
Both are due on the 1st of every
month.
Calendar
Tumbling Tykes Preschool's academic
year runs from the beginning of October though the end of May.
Our school calendar corresponds with the VESTAL school
calendar.
Special Activities
Field Trips and
graduation for the four year olds.
Visits from EMS, Fire
Company, and more for the three year olds.
Holiday
Parties
The following are the parties that we have
during the school year: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day,
Easter, End of the Year Family Picnic for
all.
Registration Information
There is a $20.00
non-refundable registration fee per family. Make checks
payable to Southern Tier Gymnastics. For registration
